The 2011 OBX sailing season starts today!

Today marks the first sailing trip of 2011 for the Rover! We’re launching the schooner from Wanchese, N.C., this morning and then sailing a short distance to the Manteo marina to prepare for two trips – one with 20 guests at 2 p.m. and one at sunset with about 10 guests. Captain Eric Snyder will be at the helm for both trips.

The National Weather Service report for Manteo calls for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 76 degrees. A south wind of between 9 and 16 mph is expected.

Our 2011 bookings are filling up fast, so call 252-473-4866 or 1-866-SAIL-OBX or e-mail captainkimwinslow@hotmail.com today to reserve your tour of the picturesque Roanoke Sound!
